Held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and organized by Ancora Imparo, the course offers in-depth training on the principles and techniques essential for managing periodontal conditions in implant dentistry. Participants will gain hands-on experience with various suturing methods, including flap design, flap tension release, and commonly applied periodontal surgical procedures. Special emphasis will be placed on the management of two of the most frequently encountered periodontal defects: infrabony and furcation lesions. Additionally, the course will incorporate the latest periodontal disease classification system, ensuring attendees are well-versed with the most up-to-date scientific standards and clinical protocols. This course is ideal for clinicians aiming to enhance their surgical proficiency and elevate the standard of care in implant and periodontal therapy.

Module 2: ORAL PLASTIC SURGERY :
A HANDS-ON WORKSHOP - Featuring tunnel soft tissue graft and procurement of connective tissue graft
This hands-on course is designed to help dentist incorporate both crown lengthening (aesthetic and functional) and soft tissue grafts (eg. free soft tissue graft, subepithelial connective tissue graft, acellular dermal matrix, guided tissue regeneration based root coverage...etc) into their daily practices. Techniques such as recently introduced tunnelling approach will be thoroughly discussed and demonstrated. In addition, the participants will be exposed to how to use soft tissue grafts to enhance implant aesthetics. After completion of this three-days continuing education course, the participant will be able to:
• Understand the principles of an aesthetic smile.
• Know the goals of aesthetic and functional (restorative-oriented) crown lengthening.
• Familiarized how to perform surgical crown lengthening.
• Know why, when, where and how to perform different soft tissue grafts (eg. free soft tissue graft, subepithelial connective tissue graft, acellular dermal matrix, guided tissue regeneration based root coverage...etc)
• Learn how to use decision tree to make proper selection of different soft tissue grafting techniques.
• Learn when to use envelope, cornally advanced flap or tunnel approach for sub epithelial CT graft or accellular dermal matrix graft.
• Know the variety surgical instruments and how to properly use them.
• Know how to perform tunnelling soft tissue graft and understand the differences between tunnel, semilunar, VISTA and apical tunnel techniques.
• Learn to control factors that influence soft tissue grafts outcome.
• Understand the differences among all available acellular dermal matrix grafts.
