Course Overview:

This three-day course offers an in-depth exploration of the transition from traditional fixed braces to the evolving field of clear aligners. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the biomechanics of clear aligners versus fixed braces, and learn practical applications for treating various malocclusions, from Class I to Class III, as well as complex cases such as open bite and deep bite.

Day 1:

Focus on foundational knowledge, including differences in biomechanics and strategies for treating Class I, Class II, and Class III malocclusions using clear aligners.

Day 2:

Explore advanced clear aligner protocols for specific conditions such as open bite and deep bite. Special emphasis on challenging cases like distalization, extractions of premolars, lower incisors and first molar extractions will be discussed.

Day 3:

Examine interdisciplinary treatments, combining clear aligners with restorative work, perio-ortho and orthognathic surgery cases. Additional focus will be on early orthodontic intervention and troubleshooting common challenges in clear aligner treatments using auxiliaries.
