Many of us dentists are used to going to work; and may find this period where we have to stay at home very uncomfortable. Our minds may race from the (dis)quiet, anxieties may arise, and we may notice tension in our bodies that we have never noticed before. Join Dr Marlene Teo as she discusses the mind body connection and how we can calm our minds with some yogic breathing techniques. She will also lead a slow yoga flow which will help release muscular tension that commonly builds up in dentists' bodies. This is an introduction to basic yoga technique and modifications will be given for people who have never tried yoga before.

All you need is a:

1) Yoga or exercise mat

2) Yoga strap (or hand towel)

3) Yoga block (or 5 story books)

4) Wall

5) Curious attitude and an open mind.

We hope you will use this period to slow down and reconnect with yourself so we can emerge from this refreshed and rejuvenated from this lockdown period.
