Course Outline

There are changes happening in dentistry. The opportunity is to embrace new concepts and materials to provide our patients with the next generation of dental care. Restorative dentistry, despite improvements in sophistication remains locked in the overpreparation of tooth structure, either by removing caries and placing inert restorative materials or replacing extracted teeth with implants or bridges. Excessive dentistry has encouraged over treatment and made the public wary of dentists, threatening the good standing of our profession.

The long-term success of general dental practice is not actively promoting high end services but assisting patients with the ongoing management of their dental health in the most complete and holistic way. Imagine providing treatment options which involve ANTERIOR or POSTERIOR RESIN BRIDGES over PFM, Ceramic or Implant bridges?

Dr. Hirofumi Tashiro’s ‘JT Concept’ emphasizes an approach of minimal intervention with the intention to encourage a paradigm shift on the perception of the usual clinical approaches to composite resin . Along with the incorporation of new results from the research institutions on the knowledge of bonding materials, Dr. Tashiro’s methods of ‘recreating what nature provides to us, will empower you with the knowledge and confidence in providing practical, predictable, efficient and visually pleasing procedures that establish loyalty and rapport with your patients.

This exciting program provides a multitude of ideas for the modern general dentist for immediate clinical implementation, that is the foundation for the next generation of dental care and excellence.
