DR. DAVID BARON


Awarded a prize for excellence by AAO for the presentation of clinical cases.

Dr. David Baron is a graduate of the School of Dentistry at UNITEC Mexico and earned speciality in Orthodontics and Master of Science degrees in Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. While at Pitt, Dr. Baron served as an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics, Coordinator of the Orthodontic Undergraduate Program, Coordinator of the Cranio-Facial Abnormalities Program, and as an Orthodontist in the Cleft Palate Center.

Moving back to Mexico City, Dr. Baron served as a Clinical Professor and then coordinator of Research and Degree at UNITEC Mexico from 1991-1998. In 1998, Dr. Baron founded the Orthodontic Centers of America where he serves as Director, focusing on clinical aspects of self-ligating brackets as well teaching and coaching others to grow their practices. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics as well as the World Federation of Orthodontics. In 1990, Dr. Baron was awarded a prize for excellence by AAO for the presentation of clinical cases. He has lectured extensively at multiple conferences and courses both at national and international level. Dr. Baron has finished over 9,000 cases using self-ligating brackets exclusively since 2005.
