DR. FABRICE CHÉREL
Dr. Fabrice Chérel received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Paris V in 1996. In 2001, he completed his post graduate education in Implantology at the University of the Mediterranean Aix-Marseille II and obtained his Certificate in Clinical Periodontology (C.E.S.) from the Paris Diderot University (also known as Paris VII), one of the leading French university in Paris. Dr. Chérel went on to obtain his post graduate in Advanced Clinical Periodontology and Implantology at the prestigious University of Paris VII, where he studied under Dr. Philippe Bouchard and Professor Jean-Pierre Ouhayoun of the Department of Periodontology at the University of Paris VII School of Dentistry. Dr. Chérel continues to be active in clinical practice, teaching and publication. He currently lectures under the post graduate program in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, which is accredited by the EFP (European Federation of Periodontology), in the University of Paris VII. He has published various scientific articles in both national and international publications, including Quintessence International and the International Journal of Dental Hygiene. Dr. Chérel was an Associate Professor in the advanced programme of periodontology at the Loma Linda University in California, USA. He is a member of the french society of periodontology and a board member of the Perspective Implantaire, an association that brings together dental surgeons who wish to improve themselves in implantology and advanced dentistry. He maintains a private practice in Paris exclusively on periodontal therapy and implantology. His primary scientific interests lie in the field of periodontal reconstructive surgery and bone reconstruction prior to implant placement.
