Prof. Joseph Kan completed training from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He is a Professor and maintains a surgical and prosthetic practice. He is on the Editorial Board of The International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and The International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry. Prof. Kan’s Honors include the 1997 Best Research Award from the Academy of Osseointegration and 2003 Judson Hinckey Award from the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. He has published over 90 reference articles and chapters with emphasis on interdisciplinary treatment planning, periodontal tissue management, and immediate tooth replacement concepts.
