Prof. Man Yi is Director and Professor of Implant Department, West China School of Dental Medicine, Sichuan University. He received his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D in Dentistry from Sichuan University. Since 2018, he has been a Standing Committee of the Committee of Implantology of Chinese Stomatological Association. Since 2021, Prof. Man Yi has been the Chairman of the Executive Committee Osteology Foundation China (NOG China) and Vice President of the Chinese Society of Digital Dentistry. He has also been a fellow of the International Team for Implantology since 2014 and a study club director since 2017.

Prof. Man Yi has received several honours including ITI scholar in 2010 by International Team for Implantology and National Famous Doctor - Young Talent by the 4th People’s Daily. His areas of scientific focus includes soft and hard tissue repair and regeneration by influencing the immune microenvironment and digital guide, implant restoration with computer-aided navigation system. He has also published and co-published many peer-reviewed publications related to implant dentistry including his more recent ones ‘Dissecting the microenvironment around biosynthetic scaffolds in murine skin wound healing’ in the Science Advances publication, “Topological structure of electrospun membrane regulates immune response, angiogenesis and bone regeneration” in Acta Biomateralia, and more.

In addition to his qualifications, achievements and publications, Prof. Man Yi gives back to the dental community by giving many lectures around the world.
